Ha ha so true I’m waiting to hear that “jack her up!” phrase every show. And why is it always Monty that jacks up the brides…surely Lori knows how to put on a veil and jewelry

Did you see that the Beverly Hills lady had her entire stock seized as part of a judgment against her?

Really??!!!

Here’s an article

Can someone kindly remind me the date/time/station that it is on?

I think it’s off for now, but it was on TLC on Friday nights at ten pm.

How did TLC miss the raid?! It would have made one heck of an episode!!

Jym, I’m not sure about the time, but the shows air on TLC Friday evenings. I turn the TV on around 8 and keep watching until I get tired. :)

LOL. I wonder if they are filming the Atl show again now. I’ll have to do a driveby! Thanks, you two.

Did anyone see the latest episode? Am I wrong or was there a 45 year old bride who said that she was “saving” herself and finally found someone?

A 45 year old virgin. Did she really say that? Am I crazy?

I don’t know if you’re crazy, but you’re definitely not imagining. Not only did the bride actually say that, but her mother did as well. And, God forgive me, the groom looked old enough to be her grandfather.

Yep, that’s what I heard as well!

He did look so much older. And her mother didn’t look old enough to be her mother (if she was 45 then I was figuring her mother to be around 65 at least!)

I saw these silly wedding cake toppers and it made me think of this thread. I hope they are not for real.
May I join? My sister mentioned this show a few days ago, saying that she is completely addicted. I checked Amazon, and they have the streaming video - for free if you have Amazon Prime! The more recent seasons may not be free. I watched some episodes from the early seasons and now I am completely hooked.

Funny, I never wore a wedding dress, but a simple, sheer, embroidered organza tea length dress over a silk slip. And I have boys.

I am astounded at how much families who appear to be of modest means are willing to spend on a dress to be worn once.

I watched the episode today where the bride wanted a dress that was a touch “slutty”. Poor Randy, that was too much for him to take! And the woman whose objective was to get a dress that was low enough in the back to just reach (as she said) “the crack” - as in you-know-what crack!!

Wonder if there is a FAFSA of CSS to fill out to qualify for a wedding dress scholarship? :)

Agree, was watching with DD and we agreed that “only” and any price with commas did not belong in the same sentence :)

Wait . . . be still my beating heart . . . is SYTTD back on in NY again? . . . NY reruns? I had to quite when they got going on the southern bridesmaids thing. This sounds goofy to say, I know, but it was just TOO reality show

Yes, the New York version was on last Friday night, and it was good.

Starting up with new episodes or repeats?

New shows! In fact, there were two new shows back-to-back on last Friday night.
