SC overturns 9th, again

[Local News | Justices rule against Ressam in terrorism case | Seattle Times Newspaper](http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2004424187_webressam19m.html)

Is anyone surprised? Not here.

Sometimes the 9th Circuit generates some good analyses. Sometimes not.

Another good reason why it’s often referred to as the “Ninth Circus Court of Appeals”.

^ 1 million.

The 9th circuit puts out some of the most ridiculous rulings… may they continue to get overturned until all the reversals beat some sense into the 9th :)

My recollection is that the 9th Circus Court of Appeals opposed the death penalty, so they would simply hold death penalty appeals on their docket rather than resolving them because resolving them would result in the death of the inmate. This was a different form of judicial activism. (I must say there is a chance I am wrong about which Calif court was doing this, but I think it was the 9th circus).
