Scale conversion table question

<p>Hi guys, I was wondering why there are dashes between the raw scores in the science section of the score conversion table? The chart goes like this:</p>

<p>Science
40</p>

<h2>39</h2>

<h2>38</h2>

<h2>37</h2>

<p>36
35
etc.</p>

<p>I’m confused about this? sorry for the ignorance… I am still getting used to the ACT</p>

<p>That means that there isn’t a scaled score for that score or “dash”</p>

<p>so if you get a 36/40, it converts to 29? then how can you get a scaled score of 30 if there is no raw score to convert?</p>
