<p>Material wise they are probably both the same in difficulty. It will likely depend on your instructor, how the course will be. Better to pick what’s more interesting to you just in case the instructor you get is hard or sucks.</p>
<p>I have no idea why Scandinavian is the “winner” in this forum (I really think not; have people actually taken them??). It’s just as hard (or easy) as other R&C courses. My point is, R&C courses really depend how much you’re interested in that subject, so you should definitely pick the one that interests you. Now all you need to do is hope that your instructor won’t be outrageously harsh or nit-picky.</p>
<p>Yeah, it’s all about the reading & composition, just like how the course is labeled.</p>
<p>When I took Scandinavian R5B, 60% of the “reading” were films. Go figure :)</p>
