So…I took 2 AP classes this year-AP Chem and APUSH. I passed the history exam and failed the chem exam. Everyone was expecting me to pass the chem exam and now I’m terrifed someone is going to ask me what I made. I REALLY don’t want to tell anyone about my epic fail. Any ideas of how to avoid telling them what I made?

or just say, " I did Okay " If they keep pushing you, just tell them that it’s none of their business.

Uh, what’s your definition of an ‘epic fail’ with respect to AP exams?

It shouldn’t be anyone else’s business but your own. You should just say that it was below expectations, but what can you do about it? (except fix your studying/comprehension mistakes)

Tell the truth.

Lying is not only morally wrong, but it encourages other people to lie about their scores too.

I usually believe in truth, but there are some cases where a person should lie.

Telling the truth: People are disappointed at you and regard you “lower” They might even laugh at you.

Lying: You won’t get laughed at / embarrassed… Things’ll stay the same.

Will lying hurt anyone? No.

You may end up feeling bad about lying, but if you have faith that lying was the most prudent move in this case, you will not. By telling the truth to your friends, you’ll ONLY be hurting yourself. By lying, nothing bad really happens… in fact lying won’t even help you. Lying will keep things the way they are. (don’t lie to colleges though…only lie to your friends)

LOL…why would you be ashamed of doing badly on a standardized test? If your friends didn’t do well either, I’m sure they’ll understand, and if they did well, suck it up and congratulate them.

What would be really embarrassing is if someone found out that you lied about it.
