so the thing is that i am in the waiting list ( no.5 on each ) for my Calculus based Physics and Calc 2 classes. So what do u all think? do i have a high probability to get into the classes or not?

I am tensed up :-(

In my school, most of the teachers automatically place all their wait-listed students into their classes. I’m not sure about yours, though.

u can always email the teachers and let them know of your situation ( im assuming ur transferring out after this spring and need those courses) that will prolly greatly help ur chances.

Try to get in before the “last day to add”/“census” date or it will be complicated to add the course.

(The registrar would probably have to do it)

It depends on the school and your peers. My school has suffered massive budget cuts which meant fewer classes, nearly everyone who got in was known as priority 0, they where transferring out in the fall and couldn’t drop the course for any reason. About 4 people got in to at class with 24 people in it.

Calc 2 should be easier to get into this semester. Most people need calc 3 to transfer and if they are leaving in Fall 2010, they would be in calc 3 right now. This means that everyone in your class can theoretically take it during the fall with no problems.

Physics has a harder limitation because it is based on the mandatory lab sizes and not chairs in the room.
