SCEA - Class of 2011

damn, five days. i’m gonna watch the pursuit of happiness first, just to put my mind at ease. then i’ma go home, read my decision, and cry.

ehh ill get on teh AIm thing

someone invite me please…SN is octalcode423

What’s the name of the chatroom… lol… did I miss something?

stanfordscearoom

or im me for invite.

=O! i missed this =(

lol, intersting chatroom yesterday!

pretty sure that I have enough friends already, theantithesisof, thankyouverymuch! lol jk. good times with random strangers (oh, takeme2cali = creepy 66 year-old widower who has interesting … interests, shall I say)

Interestingly enough, I’d never heard of that myth…
But my friend who got rejected did get his email before my ex, who was accepted. We just assumed it was because of the difference in the 2 last names, one starting with a C and the other with an M.

aaah…we need to have another AIM meet!!! I had a huge essay due today, otherwise I would have been there too!!! :)

yes our aim adventure was interesting to say the least…lol. bestiality and fish pee? i would’ve expected more from the stanford scea kids :D

4 days 3 hours and 53 minutes :D

devaaki… EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEEE me
do I look like a botox-injected 66 year old to you???
you know you’d totally want to be my friend if you saw me at stanford :p

haha funfetti… if we didn’t talk about bestiality and fish pee… then we’d just be like every other nerdy, lonely, anti-social, stanford-hopeful now wouldn’t we?

yes, you are correct, conversations of bestiality and fish pee define me : ) too bad i’ve already submitted my stanford essays, otherwise i would rewrite them to reflect this realization. and then my chances of acceptance would plummet even closer to zero.

…i love that we are all on cc during the school day. i am actually at home enjoying a nice day off. because im… errrr… sick. some student i am!

p.s. i definitely see your resemblence to a 66 botox addict. you are from cali
 isn’t that what they do out there???
anyways are you judy or jackie or neither?? i have mixed up everyone’s identity

hey! I’m at home sick too! Except…I’m truly sick and not “errrr…sick.” :p

same name? er, for the chat that is.

this is my sn. I’m going out a bit, but I’ll be back later. Can I join the room when we meet w/o an invite?

I think so. if not, windingminds is my sn.

it’s Judy…
and I’m not from cali… hence “takeme2cali” cause I’d like to be in Cali… at Stanford
man I am so nervous now, our Valedictorian just got deferred from MIT over the weekend… =/

about the MIT thing there was an article over the summer by the dean which basically summed up to: they are tired of people having perfect scores/gpa and stuff…they want something extra. I would only be worrying takeme2cali if your valedictorian didnt have some fabulous EC for mIT like research…this makes me nervous b/c i am the valedictorian of my school…seems its harder on us now

MIT is where I really want to go, but I didn’t apply there early because I applied to Stanford instead. I was in a chatroom with all the MIT EA kids and almost everyone got deferred. But the SCEA acceptance rate is higher than the MIT EA acceptance rate.
