<p>USD and Duke weren’t surprises. I was surprised, however, by the omission of Wash U St Louis. Something about uniform pink brick is just really breathtaking.</p>
<p>I think NU is scenic because of its location on Lake Michigan as opposed to its architecture.
There are a couple of beautiful buildings, and also a couple of really ugly ones (the tech buildings in north campus), but overall I have never considered the architecture to be much to get excited about.
That being said, I still think it is one of the absolutely greatest schools in the U.S., and couldn’t be happier that my kid went there.</p>
