Schedule Plan for 1 Month - 300 points

Currently my scores are roughly: 450CR, 600M, 500W

How do I get a 1900? I am a highschool graduate and I had no problems in English during highschool, I had an average of B. I’ve attended Manhasset High School which is a fairly decent ranked high school. I just really get frustrated at these scores.

I am currently skipping a semester in college to retake the SAT which is my last one. It is on December 1st, which is about a month from now (roughly 3.5 weeks). The problem I have with the critical reading I believe is vocabulary for certain, but when it comes down to two identical answers in the passage-reading parts, I usually mark the wrong one.

Since I’m skipping a semester I have the whole day to study for a month. If I don’t get a 300 point increase at least I will most likely stop wasting my time studying because I do not think I’m mentally capable of improving in the SAT. I have studied countless hours and I believe I’ve only gotten a 50-70 point increase.

What books do you use? What do you do to study?

I have the College Board Study Guide along with the Online Guide (expired). I’ve also purchased Barron’s Vocab Cards, and Books.

Do you have an effective schedule plan that may work for me? And, do you have some sources of where I can get free tests or maybe you have a paid account you no longer use? Please help, any advice is appreciated, I’m in a very desperate situation right now.

there’s no special formula that will raise your score. Just practice. you have lot of space for improvement in any of three sections.
Get Direct Hits books. these will boost your vocabulary.
Barron’s books are very good, math especially. study with them.
Also it’s very important analyse all your errors so that you understand why you missed question and why is right question right.
no one can make schedule for you. just study vocabulary and practice as much as you can.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE is all you need. but remember that without thorough review of all you questions you will not get any results. Don’t expect any miracle from acknowledging strategies and tips

thank you vkracing, hopefully I’ll manage to get those scores, practicing everyday.
