<p>Does it matter if I can’t take neither the AP course or the honors course at my school because of scheduling issues? I’m taking biology right now, and the school scheduled AP Macroeconomics at the same period as AP Biology and Honors Biology. As a prospective economics major, I would like to take AP MacroEcon, but I’m going to have to take Regular Bio. It would definitely give me an A+, but wouldn’t teach me anything cuz I know half the material already. my counselor knows that but still recommends that I take bio. i’ve talked to the bio teacher, and she’s willing to move me to AP Bio next semester. (AP Macroecon’s only one semester at my school) Would I be okay taking the easiest course? (even if it’s due to scheduling issue?)</p>

<p>Yes, you can also ask your counselor when she writes her recommendation to explain about the scheduling issues. My son ended up taking regular English as a senior because both honors and AP were given at the same time as other courses he was taking.</p>
