I dont know if i should tell him that my mom is schizo.
It hasnt impacted my grades… but it has impacted me emotionally and socially
so should i even tell him?</p>
<p>Well…your counselor is probably going to write how you faced hardships within your family and still managed to excel in school. If you want your counselor to write that then sure go ahead. But if you find it too personal or embarrassing or whatever, then you don’t have to tell him.
I personally would tell him so I won’t get a generic rec. But that’s only because I won’t be embarrassed by it. So it’s really up to you.</p>
