Scholars Day vs. Duck Days?

Daughter set to travel from Georgia to Eugene for Scholars Day this Friday and it got cancelled last minute. They’re rescheduling but there’s also a more convenience Duck Days. Anyone have any input on the two?

Has she been ?

Duck Days looks like a traditional admitted day.

It looks like Scholar Days is for higher level students, to make them feel better, maybe share available programs.

In the end, if the goal is to see if UO is right for you, get to campus however you can. Take a tour.
Eat in the dining hall. Walk the campus and Eugene. Stop kids on campus and chat them up.

Perhaps the Scholar Day will have more info on enrichment.

But the goal here is to decide - is this the school for me ? Even if it was just a regular tour day and neither of these, it’d be fine.

And if there are things from the Scholars Day you want to know about, tell admissions. They will likely set up whatever special thing you need…side meetings etc.

I’d personally go when it’s cost effective and convenient, especially if this is your first visit.

Good luck.

Thanks. She’s been and it’s probably her top choice but she saw it as a sophomore and it was the first one she saw…. So she needs to see if she really liked it or if it was just the first  I think she’s going to go to the rescheduled scholars day … works a bit better for travel

Enjoy your visit. Nice school. Great ice cream place right off campus. Can’t remember the name. Long line.

Southwest Airlines flies there now if you haven’t checked. They’re obviously big out of Atlanta.
