<p>What kind of person is valid to ask for a second recommendation? My mom looked at the forms before I did and told me that it looked like my Dartmouth peer evaluation would be acceptable, but after looking at it myself it seems like it would not be valid because it was from the perspective of a classmate within the classroom environment mainly.</p>
<p>I am applying for the Engineering Academic Fellowship Programs. The instructions suggest somebody who supervised me during research, but that would happen to be the same person who wrote my teacher’s recommendation for both admission and the scholarship.</p>
<p>What do I do? Should I just use the peer recommendation?</p>
