@myrna97 - Nothing in the communications area in the portal? DS got a scholarship from UMD last week, but I knew it was coming for a few days due to them putting a copy in there first.
@cshell2 No, oddly, it hasn’t shown up there. I’m not sure why.
For those that received the scholarship, was it in a separate mail from the acceptance letter? I do not see any mention of a scholarship in the acceptance letter and I am wondering if that comes severely or if that simply implies my D20 did not receive any?
@netpro In D20’s case, the scholarship followed her acceptance by what seemed like forever…maybe a month? She was accepted in the first week in November I believe.
@bigmacbeth thank you.
Formerly nicki20. I saw on the USPS today’s mail D20 is getting something from the Honors College. Any idea what that might be?
I am a student from Wisconsin accepted to the Honors College and I just got a letter today that said I received the Bentson Family Scholarship totaling $24,000 over four years.
@aliceincollegeland how long ago were you accepted?
Mid-december
That one is listed under university scholarships preference if your Jewish. I’m not sure it mattered when you were accepted.
My son OOS NJ was accepted January 6 to the CEHD but has not received any kind of scholarship or merit aid letter. How long after most were accepted did you receive the letter? Thanks in advance.
My in-state daughter was accepted to CLA in October and just received a merit scholarship letter today.
The scholarship has not been posted on the portal. Only notification was the snail mail letter.
Does anyone know when they send out the financial aid letters? Duluth campus has had theirs out for a couple weeks now, so I have a pretty good idea of what TC will offer, but I’d like to know for sure.
great…congrats…thanks for the reply.
Counselor told daughter mid February on financial letter. We are going there on the 17th for the Honors Showcase. Wondering if it will be before or after our visit.
Thank you. We’re going on the 14th for an Admitted student day and to meet with a faculty member in the Aerospace department, so yeah, would be nice to get that before we go.
@OneEyedWonder what were your sons stats?
Anyone hear on scholarships yet?
@MNMom77 What were your daughter’s stats and how much did they offer, if you don’t mind my asking?
