Scholarship Chances? (Will chance you back)

Hello,
I will be a senior in high school this fall and am wondering which colleges you think I may be able to get a significant amount of merit-based scholarship from (if any). My family won’t get any need-based financial aid, but we can’t afford to pay full tuition to private institutions or out of state schools.

Proscpective Major: Russian Language & Literature and Economics while studying German (potentially as a minor)

ACT: 31 Composite (34 English, 26 Math, 31 Reading, 31 Science)
3 AP classes Senior Year

GPA: 3.85

Extracurricular:
Swim Team
–Four years
–Junior and senior years as captain.
Mock Trial
–Four years
–Junior and senior years as captain.
–Attended the 2009 American Mock Trial Invitational

Foreign Language Studies:
Spanish I to Spanish IV
–Began as a freshman
German I to German V
–Began as a junior
–German I was completed independently in between my sophomore and junior years.
–German III and IV were completed independently in between my junior and senior years.
Beginning Russian I to Beginning Russian III
–Studied at Creighton University
–“Beginning Russian I” was completed in between my junior and senior years.
–“Beginning Russian II” & “Beginning Russian III” will be completed during my senior year.

I will receive very strong letters of reccommendation from my high-school German teacher and my Russian professor.

Schools I will apply to:
University of Nebraska at Lincoln
University of Nebraska at Omaha
Iowa State University
University of Pittsburgh
University of Indianna
DePaul University in Chicago
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska
University of Wisconsin at Madison

If you know of any other schools that you think may offer me merit-based scholarships, I’m open to suggestions!

If you want me to chance you back, just say so in your post and I will happily do so!

assuming your GPA is at least 3.5

University of Nebraska at Lincoln- SAFETY
University of Nebraska at Omaha-SAFETY
Iowa State University- SAFETY
University of Pittsburgh-SAFETY
University of Indianna-match
DePaul University in Chicago- low reach
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign- low reach
Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska- IN
University of Wisconsin at Madison- this place isnt the best for language studies, but Ill say very low reach, cuz I dont know your GPA, but your ACT score falls right in.

Thanks for the quick response. My GPA is 3.85. I knew I forgot something.

bump
bump…

well, with that GPA, Ill go with in to all of them.

In everywhere, but I don’t know too much about merit aid. If you need the money, I’d apply for some merit-based scholarships that aren’t associated with a particular school.

As an aside: What do you all think of Indianna University, U. Pitt, and UIUC for their language programs (particularly their Russian and German programs)? I have heard that they are all above-average, but I’m not too sure about merit-based aid coming my way from these schools.
