The scholarship application for my top choice college requires me to write an essay over a work of art that has inspired me. I was thinking about doing mine over The Lion King because there are so many themes that I could discuss. The problem is, I’m not sure this movie has necessarily inspired me in any way… Also, the point of the essay is to get to know more about the person writing it and if I write mine over the Lion King I feel like it would be more just talking about the various themes in the film and not much about my personal life. I’ve also thought about writing it over the Bible but there are also many complications with that idea. What should I do? This scholarship application is very important to me and I don’t want to pick a stupid topic. Any suggestions?

It does sound tough if you actually haven’t been exposed to a work of art that you thought was inspirational.
Perhaps you just need to give it a little more thought.

Thank you! I know I probably do just need to give it more thought. It’s just so stressful!
