scholarship mail question?

<p>Hey, I’m a high school sophomore and lately I’ve been getting mail from the National Honor Roll, Who’s Who, etc, and I want to know why. I figured it was because I took the PSAT, but I’ve asked a few of my friends who also took it, and none of them have gotten anything like that. Um, I took the SAT II for Bio in october, but I don’t think that’s why either.</p>

<p>Can anybody tell me why I’m getting this mail? I mean, I’m happy because its a good thing, but it’s weird, since when I visit the websites for the awards, it says you have to be nominated by a teacher or something. But nobody’s nominated me for anything…or at least they haven’t told me (which is just weird!)</p>

<p>So does anybody know why I’m getting this stuff?</p>

<p>ive been getting those too. i think it’s a scam. everyone i know gets those too and no one takes them seroiusly. at least no one i know. they probably got your name from psat or sat stuff.</p>
