<p>You can always put your deposit at Pitt (the deadline is still May 1) and contact your other school. Explain what happened, say you’re sorry, but that you will not in fact be enrolling at the school. The deposit was just that-- a placeholder for your seat. Yes you forfeit the deposit, but it seems like you’re talking about $300-$400 verse a LOT more in savings at Pitt.</p>
