Rec.s - good?
Essay - meh…not bad. I can’t really tell…

Guess not.

Really good shot at getting in, but I’m not so sure about the scholarship.

No. 1 it is the University of Chicago, so you should be thanking sweet Jesus if you get in, and No. 2 merit is EXTREMELY difficult to get. Last years’ had a 35 on the ACT…and was probably a complete genius all around.

That’s not to say you can’t get it, but merit is very hard to come by.

Your score in math will definitely get you noticed (more than a 790 at least!).

If you want financial aid as in need-based, I’m not an expert, but I know you are supposed to fill out a ccs profile and then they decide how much you get. I hear they have a good financial aid office, but I really don’t know. All I’ve heard is that it is better than Wash U’s.

Good luck with the aid.
