I was wondering if I am a competitive candidate for a scholarship at highly competitive schools. I know the Ivies don’t give scholarships, but Boston College, Chicago, Duke, Rice, swarthmore, etc. do. So, I was wondering if I am a reasonable candidate.

Mostly because of your SATI, I’d have to say you’re not a strong candidate at the most selective schools. The money will go to the kids with the highest statistics or and extremely special talent or achievement. Kids who they are basically stealing from HYPS. If you want merit money, you’ll need to apply to schools where your statistics would put you at the very top of their ranges.

Kirmum is correct. Your profile is exactly like lots of students that the colleges you are applying to accept. And sometimes reject. The only school on your list where you stand out is BC.
