<p>I am expecting approximately 10k in scholarships in the 08-09 year aside from the regular grants (i.e. Cal Grant); however, the awards will not be handed out until around August, way past UCB’s financial aid offer. Does anyone know if UCB will reduce the regular grant (university grant, cal grant) amount once the scholarships come in, or will the scholarship money just be a bonus?</p>
<p>Well, when you do financial aid application for Cal, they will have a column for you to fill out any awards, scholarships that you are expecting. Your grants will be reduced once those scholarships hit.</p>

<p>Do you know when we are suppose fill that out? Should I have filled that out already? I submitted my FAFSA in January and my income verification about 2 weeks ago.</p>

<p>I’m filling out my application for summer, which is due 5/15/08. So I’m sure you will have ample time before the one for fall is due. </p>
<p>Maybe I’m wrong and we don’t have to fill out an application. If that is the case, you should contact the financial aid office when you receive your scholarship.</p>
