<p>Hello ladies and gentleman, I just have a quick question regarding the “Scholarship Recognition Award”. Does this award have anything to do with a CalGrant? I was just wondering because my CalGrant is not reflecting on my financial aid package, only this scholarship.</p>
<p>No, the Scholarship Recognition Award is totally separate from the Calgrant. From my understanding, the Scholarship Recognition Award is just a lump of money that UCLA wants to award you for being on time, and to offset the cost of attendance.</p>
<p>I received that as a freshman as well.</p>
