Just wondering if everyone has this page on their financial aid page. https://eso.umd.edu/osfa-testudo/thankyou
https://eso.umd.edu/osfa-testudo/student I think you have to go here first, then click the green button, then I found the page under the documents tab.
Did you set up a umd email and everything to be able to get into that? If so how?
Or do you have to have committed?
You dont have to be committed. Hold on let me try and remember what I did
- Okay so on that second link, click on the Identity Verification Page link to the right
- Once you confirm your identity you’ll make your username
- I think you go back to the first page you started at and click on the “set your directory password” link… ignore this step if you already made your password in last step. not sure how it went for me.
you have to wait 2 days to access the financial aid page. For me it was more like a day and a half.
Awesome thanks. I’ll let you know if I have it.
I have it, but I have no info about anything else. They are still telling me that they haven’t made a financial aid package for me yet.
Yeah same here about the financial aid package.
Hmmm maybe the thank you note thing is given to everyone
“A package of awards has not yet been created for you for the 2015-2016 award year” does this mean it has not been created or it is in the process ? Have you or any on this forum actually receive an award letter via email or snail mail ?Or are all awards already been distributed …thank you
Some people have gotten scholarships around February 28th. Not sure if they’re done giving out merit scholarships. I think they haven’t started with financial need based scholarships.
thanks KyloRen
I still can’t get onto this page…I click on the link to get your Directory ID# and fill in the information but it says no match found…I am an accepted student but have not committed yet…anybody else have this problem?
We cannot get onto this page either…fill in the last five ssn digits, birthday, and last name and the screen refreshes itself and wipes out previously filled-in information. Also an accepted student who has not committed yet.
I think it does that sometimes if you press enter instead of actually clicking on the submit button
@mudshark That happened to me, too. Initially, I flipped out, haha. But I reentered the information and it went through the second time.
I actually had several issues with signing up, but it seems that everything has been fixed now.
Last year, financial aid packages were released on March 21st for most people. Just a heads up guys
