I have the Presidential Scholarship at the University of Alabama, and I hate the school. I doubt it, but is that scholarship transferable to another school? My dream school has always been NYU, but I honestly just want to get away from UA.
A scholarship from University of Alabama would NOT be transferable to NYU or anywhere else.

Nope. Institutional money from a school is for attendance at that school.
No, Alabama will not send their money to NYU to allow you to transfer there.
