<p>My son was offered a Pegasus Bronze scholarship. Now that the UF announcement is out, I would imagine many UF accepted students will now turn down their UCF scholarship. Is my son a candidate to have a higher level scholarship (silver/gold) or does UCF just go to the next person and award that money?</p>

<p>Last year both happened. More kids who had honors stats but were admitted late got scholarship offers and I vaguely remember one kid getting “an upgrade”.</p>
<p>Your son should write to the Scholarship committee and ask to be considered for additional scholarship funds. My D wrote to notify the committee that she was a National Hispanic Scholar and her scholarship was increased substantially last year.</p>
