Your high school counselor should know the BF requirement and should be HOUNDING you and your classmates to get the applications in after they open on Dec 1, but you should get all the requirements done - 100 hours of community service, foreign language, all the required classes, and the ACT/SAT score. The apps for the Florida schools first deadline is very early, I think Oct 16. You really need to get on it in Sept if you want to be in that group.
We didn’t even know about the FRAG until a friend told me (of course she told me $20000! and it was $2500). Florida also had need based grants, so if you qualify for Pell, you’d get a state grant too. Most of the state universities have some kind of merit aid. UCF’s is rather hard to figure out but ask your counselor if you have questions.
