Hi, I have US citizenship but I am currently residing in South Korea. (Attending an International School here)
Are there any scholarships I can apply to?
I am a rising junior, but please let me know of any scholarships (even those for seniors) for future reference.
Thank you.

Hi!

You will have to check the residency facts but here are some my daughter applied to:

Asian & Pacific Islander American (have several scholarships with different sponsors! my daughter was a winner :)

OCA-AXA Asian Pacific American (OCA is Organization of Chinese Americans but include all Asians my girl is part Pakistani)

OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Minority (She is a finalist for this one)

RMHC-ASIA Scholarship Program (She won this one too)

William Orr Dingwall Asian Ancestry Grant (If I recall this one favors Korean ancestry)

Good Luck!
Lisa

swicks 2011, Thank you so much for your help :D

In response to questions about this:

OCA-AXA Asian Pacific American (OCA is Organization of Chinese Americans but include all Asians my girl is part Pakistani)

This is different then the AXA scholarship.
You apply for this & the UPS Gold Mountain at the OCA website. AXA & UPS are sponsors of these 2 OCA scholarships.

Like the APIASF Fund has multiple scholarships by different sponsors (My daughter won the one sponsored by Coca-Cola but not the Coca-Cola Scholarship) but the APIASF processes & decides winners

You apply through the OCA and check off on that application to also apply for this & UPS Gold Mountain which we learned my daughter one today!

[OCA NATIONAL WEBSITE - Scholarship Program](http://ocanational.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=59&Itemid=)

This scholarship is not open yet though. Once it is there will be a link to apply for all three on one application. The links for more information is not where you go to apply that just tells you about the sponsors

Good Luck!

Take Care,
Lisa

Just came across this website although most of the scholarships are school specific or for those from California or going to California. There is one for YALE students as well. Not all require to be of Asian Culture
