<p>Are there any scholarships for those wanting to major in a foreign language in college? Can demonstrating a great proficiency in a language prior to going to college put me in the running for some sort of scholarship somewhere?</p>

<p>This is the Kor Memorial Scholarship. It is offered by the Klingon Language Institute (as in, Star Trek), but you don’t actually have to know Klingon to apply. However- and this is a big however -you must already be in college to be eligible. If you are not yet an undergraduate, this one is not for you. One day, though!</p>
