<p>My son will be selling stock to pay for law school. He received a partial (merit) scholarship from the school he will be attending which goes towards tuition. Is this taxable? We want to be sure that the scholarship plus capital gains does not put him in a tax bracket to pay a large amount of taxes.</p>
