Hi.
What are some scholarship opportunities that I (as a rising junior) can apply for?
I have moderate-to-severe pre-lingual hearing loss and I am wearing hearing aids on both ears.
I am planning to go to University of South Carolina or Clemson. Do such schools give additional aid to hard of hearing?
Not that I have heard but there very well may be outside scholarships that you can apply for. Usually you want to start applying for outside scholarships fall of your senior year. But some scholarships are for continuing students that you can try each year too.
Use google and fastweb etc. Check your state organizations for deaf/hearing impaired. Also check your target universities for the scholarship pages for all scholarships you may be eligible for. Here is a start, each of these pages mention multiple scholarships. Gear up and send a bunch out when they open.
