Scholarships for International Students

Hey guys,

This month I got accepted into a few state universities as an international student. I didn’t file any documents, anything, to be considered for scholarships while applying, because none of these schools offer scholarships to international students (according to what’s written on their websites). However, now that I am admitted, I wanted know if I would have a chance to get a scholarship by writing something like a motivational letter directly to the office of scholarships, after accepting the offer?

No. If the school doesn’t offer aid to international students…you can ask all you want and it won’t make a speck of difference…at all.

No aid.

And if you didn’t submit applications for need based aid anyway…you won’t get that at all, either.

ETA…these were your stats as of fall. Not exactly scholarship high enough anyway.

I improved those stats a bit, but I guess it wouldnt really make a difference. Anyways, thanks.

U may need to start looking for scholarships using trusted sites you can also search for hey success and also try downloading the scholly app you get scholarship by writing essays hope this helps am using these two sites to find scholarships

In addition to what @thumper1 has responded, you applied to “state” universities. Those schools are funded by the state and its state taxpayers. Most states barely have enough funds to cover their employees, let alone their resident students.
State universities rarely give scholarships to non residents.
Arriving to a college and then asking for money won’t work, they (financial aid) allocate and plan their dollars at the freshman level for the next four years to residents and high stats students.
