Scholarships for JUCO transfers

Hey everyone. Have two at 4-year schools that received significant merit awards and a third that was unsure of her choice (both college & major) but received significant awards as well. Instead of accepting ontshe chose to work for a year and is still unsure of her choices, if she attends JUCO while trying to figure things out (where I’m sure she will continue to do well) are there similar merit awards available for transfers or are they mainly available to incoming freshman?

The substantial ones are for incoming frosh. Colleges want the profile of their incoming frosh class to be the best possible, hence the merit offers

Merit scholarships tend to be fewer for transfer students than frosh. You can check the scholarship web pages of colleges of interest to see what they are like at the specific colleges.
