Scholarships for Sophomore or Junior in Public Universities?

<p>I am an international student.
As a result,most public schools don’t give or give little financial aids or scholarships to me as entrance scholarships.</p>

<p>My family is not rich.The comprehensive fees of a public school for intl students is about 30000-35000 or even more which I definitely can’t afford.
If I rent a off-campus house and find some part-time job,the fees may decrease to around 25000+.It is also out of my financial ability but only exceeds a little.</p>

<p>So I wonder are there any schools give scholarships with large amount(>5000 dollars/year) to intl students like me in Sophomore or Junior years if I have good academic records in Freshman year?</p>

<p>My first-choice major is math and second may be computer science or economics.So please recommend schools which are not bad in these.</p>

<p>I am interested in U North Carolina-CH,UT-Austin,Purdue,UMinnesota,Rutgers,Strony Brook,Wisconsin-Madison,UIndiana-Bloomington,Georgia Institute of Tech.</p>

the expenses are very high because you either need to go home during breaks or pay your living expenses.</p>

<p>Financial Aid is not available to student (F-1) visa holders.</p>
