<p>Can scholarships hurt someone’s chance of getting a Cal Grant or Pell Grant? I’m just assuming that if you knew you were receiving a scholarship wouldn’t you have to record that money and count it towards your EFC? The higher the EFC the less financial aid you receive… any thoughts?</p>
<p>Scholarships are not treated as income by FAFSA and will not impact Pell eligibility.</p>
