<p>Hi everyone - Recently I was notified that I am the recipient of a local $5000 scholarship. For financial aid, BC gave me nearly $7000 in loans and work study - no grant aid or scholarship money whatsoever. My question is, therefore, will BC greatly reduce my subsidized loans and the work study once they learn of my scholarship? Or would they have only taken away grant aid had I received any? Is there anyone who has had experience with how BC deals with scholarships? I know they ask for everything to be reported, but I wasn’t sure if their procedures were different for students who only received loans/work study as financial aid.
