Fifa is giving me a scholarship to a college that wants goalkeepers, but football is not my favorite sport. When i go to that college , do i have to play the sport ? If i get kicked off the team, will they send me back home ?
I’m not familiar with this type of scholarship. Is it for one particular school and if so, is the coach at that school recruiting you? Will you be academically admitted to that school? If you are recruited by the coach and the school admits you, then you would have to look at the terms of the scholarship. Since it is for a goalkeeper then I would assume it will require you to be a member of the team. If you were kicked off of the team then I assume you would lose the scholarship and would have to pay in full if you wanted to stay at the school. However, without knowing more about the situation I really can’t say for sure. Normally the school would offer the scholarship under the terms of the NCAA and the coach of the team is the one who would recruit you. I don’t understand what is going on here so my answer may not be correct.
