Good news–the scholastic website says National Ceremonies will continued as planned. Of course that could always change if the outbreak gets worse, but for now it’s on.

Hey y’all I submitted my SAS application 5 minutes late, do you think they’ll still look at it? Should I email them? I know we had a lot of time to work on it, but I did it in two days as a last-ditch effort because my summer program in Spain will probably be canceled due to coronavirus. Also, how many sentences did y’all use to explain your art/writing?
@unemployedcardib Lol I submitted mine last minute as well. You should probably email them asap if you haven’t already. I didn’t use A LOT of sentences. Normal 8 sentence paragraphs for my two submissions.

Lol same. I know I will most likely not get a medal but I’ll still be so upset when I find out. I don’t really care about the award itself but it’s just my last chance to win a medal before college apps, and I need it to verify my writing, if that makes sense. I can tell colleges I love creative writing but I need some proof to back it up in the form of an award.
