Has anyone here ever used the Scholly app? Is it worth paying for or is it just another scholarship finder like fastweb, etc?
I am wondering the same thing. I read that it is similar to other scholarship searches, but definitely want to see what people say about it. They might be unique at something.
In my experience, it doesn’t give you any information you can’t find yourself, but it does streamline things nicely and eliminate “scam” scholarships. Honestly, I think you’re paying for organization more than anything else.
Tl;dr it’s potentially worth it.

Saw the app on shark tank, it looks good but if your good at research yourself then I would save the money
The app only costs like $2. Do we really need a debate on the price of something so cheap? I purchased the app and thought it’s pretty useful. All the scholarships in the app I saw were less than $5000. So if you’re looking for a giant scholarship, Scholly might not be that helpful.
Scholly lists all the huge ones, too. This is just far, far too late in the game for the big ones: those are all due August through November, maybe December at the absolute latest.
That, and there aren’t too many huge ones to begin with (institution-independent).
