<p>Is there any way I can find out how much my school certifies for loans? I don’t want to waste my time applying and then find out it was too much or something. </p>

<p>I checked here and their website and didn’t find anything.</p>

<p>EDIT: To clarify, I need about $3000 more for school. My school names their CoA to be about $16,000 and this loan would put me right at their CoA. Is the school certified limit usually higher than this or what…? I’m lost.</p>

<p>The school is only allowed to certify you to total aid=cost of attendance. They certify you for your requested amount or for the amount that brings you to COA (if this amount is less than your requested amount).</p>
