School change for Regent Candidate

Would the change of major affect my regent scholarship consideration?
I’m not sure what to major in, but since I’m already accepted, can I file for school change into engineering?

I’m not sure if i want to do engineering, but it seems like I would have a much harder time trying to transfer into engineering later if I do decide that’s what I want to do.

My utmost priority is to get the regent scholarship.

Any suggestions? should I wait till i get into Berkeley and get the regent scholarship first before I change school(if i decide to do so)?

I don’t think you can change schools until you actual enroll in Berkeley.

according to the FAQ page, I can still send corrections to my application by mail after nov 30. So i don’t know if I should. I don’t want to jeopardize my shot at the Regent scholarship. at the same time I don’t know how hard it would be to change to engineering later

Changing into engineering is hard as hell.

Changing out of engineering has a difficulty level that corresponds to your GPA once at Berkeley. The higher your college GPA the easier it is to leave engineering. The lousier your college GPA is the harder it is to leave engineering. So lousy students are trapped into engineering.
