My school currently has its own method of issuing reports and marks. It’s based on a letter mark and a number mark up to 7.
Since the school is an I.B school, the reports are out of 42, with it being practically impossible for anyone to achieve 7’s because the number mark reflects where we are now, and most students aren’t at a 7 level.

How will schools look at me because I don’t have a cumulative GPA? Will they take into consideration my schools unique grading system?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I’m going to bump because I don’t know the answer.

My school didn’t have a GPA system as well. We were marked out of 100 for each subject that we studied. Then instead of an average GPA we were given a percentage out of 100%.

So my Head of school, just wrote a letter explaining the grading system that our school followed and mentioned the percentage that I received and the highest percentage in the class.

So you should request your head of school do something similar.

It wont affect your chances of admission if you give percentages or levels instead of GPA.
