school name on resume

<p>Is it better to put “Columbia University” or “Columbia University in the City of New York” on your resume? </p>

<p>cuz I think there are several other colleges also with name like “Columbia”…</p>

<p>I would just put “Columbia University” because on a resume you should also put which city and state the school is in. There is only one Columbia University in New York.</p>

<p>Example:</p>

<p>EDUCATION:
Columbia University<br>
New York, NY</p>

<p>yeah the other columbia are all columbia colleges I think (which of course gets it confused with columbia college of columbia university…lol)</p>
