A lot of the schools I’m applying to have a separate School of Engineering, but I am only 50% sure I even want to do engineering. I love math, but I struggle in physics. Neuroscience interests me as well, so I don’t want to apply for engineering and get rejected to a school because of the competitiveness in case it turns out I’m not going to pursue engineering after all. Do you think I should declare a major in engineering anyways, just in case?

Also, does anyone have a list of schools where I can apply to a second-choice major–like USC–so if I get rejected for engineering, I still have another chance?
