School profiles - will race be redacted?

Our high school profile lists the racial and ethnic breakdown of the student body. Apparently this is somewhat common. I found some school profiles from around the countey as examples with and without this information. Will racial information about the HIGH SCHOOL be redacted by colleges?

Redacted in what sense? High schools either include that or they don’t. How can a college redact it?

No. If you are referring to the Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action, it only states that race can not be used to give an advantage to any applicant. It doesn’t mean that the race of an applicant - or the racial make up of an applicant’s school - must be hidden. In fact, many students still use their personal statement to talk about their identity and sometimes list ECs that include affinity groups based on race and ethnicity. It is perfectly fine to do so.

Thanks. Confirms what I thought, but given how spooked some colleges are about the Supreme Court Ruling, I thought I’d ask.
