School Reimbursement for Scores of 3 or Higher

<p>Does your school reimburse you for scoring a 3 or higher on each exam you take? If so, how much are you reimbursed?</p>

<p>At my school, the PTSO pays back 50% to students who score a 3, 75% to students who score a 4, and 100% to students who score a 5. Granted, the student has to be a member of the PTSO by the 1st quarter. Of course, I have heard from previous students that it took a while for them to be reimbursed. Nonetheless, I think this system is marvelous. I thought the whole cost-effectiveness of AP classes in comparison to college classes was a bargain. But this is even more fantastic.</p>

<p>I want to know if any other schools have a program like this.</p>

<p>I wish. We don’t get anything no matter the score.</p>

<p>At my school, all of our AP exams are free. Nobody has to pay for anything. I was the first person in my school’s history to request a self-study of an AP exam, and my counselor said I had to pay for it myself. Then, she asked, “Do you have free lunch?” I replied, “Yes” and my self-study AP exam is free too! Yay! (I am really glad my self-study AP exam is free, because with the cost I probably would not have been able to do it).</p>
