<p>As a legitimate dysgraphic, I have computer use for any in-school or standardized assessments. However, during my French final, my teacher took away my school-issued computer saying it “wasn’t necessary.” I ignored it at the time because I thought I did really well on the test. Then I got my report card three days ago and saw that I had completely bombed the final and saw my grade drop barely into the C range (79.3, after a B- quarter and a B quarter). The only way this could have happened is if he couldn’t read my essays. I haven’t been able to get this resolved yet, and I don’t know how to deal with it with colleges. I worked my ass off to get from being a B/C student to an A/B student in almost all AP classes, and don’t want this to ruin the improvement I’ve shown in my grades. As far as I know, the school report has also already been sent.</p>
