Upon reviewing the [Pitt events calendar](http://www.events.pitt.edu/view.asp), it does not appear that the school sponsors many exciting events. Is there a lot going on that does not get posted here?

I guess it depends what you’d define as exciting. I know they had Obama come speak recently, and there have been rap artists come and play in the past year or so.

What part of the calender are you looking at? Anything past May won’t be updated yet obviously. They’ve had a Spring Celebration, Ball Night, etc. They probably took down a lot of old events because if you search by year you get more events than if you manually click to January.

They’ll be having a play, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, a Bigelow Bash, End of the year Celebration…sounds good to me.

The semester ends April 23, so maybe that’s why not much is scheduled now. If you click on the tab “this month,” you’ll see the events from April 1 onward.

The event calendar on Pitt’s website is hardly comprehensive. Actually, I do work with the student government and one of our biggest issues for next year is to improve it. Please don’t view that as being all that Pitt offers, it is actually a very small percentage.

It’s a huge state school, of course they have events.

theres a lot to do. well leave it at that ;)
