I woke up this morning with a really bad cold so I called the school and said that I couldn’t take the exam I had today. I then asked if I could take the late test, and the school said that they didn’t want to bother with ordering late exams. Can they do that??

Yes. Late tests are for serious and unavoidable issues. Just getting a cold or whatever, isn’t a valid excuse.

Who at the school told you that? If it wasn’t the principal, work your way up the ladder to him/her.

Another option is to ask if another school is offering late exams.

Is it possible for me to take a late test if the person who originally ordered it does not use the exam? If so, what are the means to achieve this? How do I make inquiries about open positions?
Thanks!
