Schools for CS major

You haven’t said too much about yourself, but if you would like to study computer science within a purely undergraduate focused environment, professors from these schools appear to have been the first to actively initiate and design a model CS curriculum for liberal arts colleges:

Allegheny
Amherst
Bowdoin
Colgate
Hamilton
Swarthmore
Vassar
Washington & Lee
Williams

These colleges are generally well endowed financially, and can often offer good financial aid as a result. Though admission to these schools can be quite competitive, your chances would still be good at most of them. The advisability of these schools may depend your level of interest in engineering, though Swarthmore does offer it. California students are well represented at these colleges.
