Schools located in not-so-great towns

<p>Something to think about when applying for college:</p>

<p>Truman State; Wittenberg</p>

<p>A lot of good LACs are located in the middle of nowhere
Colby
Knox College
Grinnell all come to mind</p>

<p>And of course there’s Yale…</p>

<p>A college campus forms its own community.
To me, the lack of a real campus (think NYU) is a bigger liability than a surrounding, not-so-great town. Provided the college isn’t really really small or the town downright dangerous.</p>
